If the tigers go extinct, the entire system would collapse.Therefore, it's not just about saving a beautiful animal. It is about making sure that we live a little longer as the forests are known to provide ecological services like clean air, water, pollination, temperature regulation etc...

If tigers are to vanish from our forests then it will cause huge havoc in the ecological food chain where and the ecosystem, it would completely disrupt the food chain.

Explanation:

There would be huge amount of animals in the forests that were eaten by the tigers in the first place. Like a tiger is a carnivore and is fed on a herbivore such a a deer, if tigers cease to exist then won’t be any check on the number of deer in the forest. If tiger are not there then there will be lots of boar too. If this happens, there will be more deers and boars, and very little food!
