Answer:

If the process of transpiration stops in plants, then the excess water inside the plants will not be able to come out. Hence, the plants will burst due to the presence of excess of water inside them

Answer:

If the process of transpiration stops in plants, then the excess water inside the plants will not be able to come out. Hence, the plants will burst due to the presence of excess of water inside them

Explanation:

The importance of transpiration in plants is to cool the plant and provide water and nutrients to the leavesTranspiration is the process in which there is loss of water from the plants in the form of water vapour. Since, there is loss of water there is a pressure of suction force created in the upward direction. This allows the cells of the root hair to absorb more water. When the water is absorbed, the suction force causes the water to move in the upward direction from the roots to the leaves.
