Hey,

When two black holes, they form a binary black holes system. The gravitational field of this star system is very high. Generally, when black holes meet they send ripples through out the space time fabric. Sometimes, they even merge to form a supermassive black hole(when each other can't escape the other's gravitational force).I suppose in 2017 or 2018,two physicists were awarded Noble physics Prize for their research on this topic. Einstein predicted this ages ago.

Hey there!

If two black holes meet, they both cannot escape each other's gravitational possible. It is possible that they merge to form a bigger black hole.

The mass of new black hole is equal to the sum of masses of two earlier black holes and its area is smaller than the sum of areas of earlier black holes.

Hope this helps
