What will happen if we add potassium permanganate in carboxylic acid?

Permanganates are powerfull oxidizers. So the (rather strained) ring of cyclopropene is opened. The result is possibly acrolein C3H4O , see acrolein | C3H4O | ChemSpiderbut I am not sure.
