What will happen if we keep a plant cell or animal call in (a) hypotonic solution (b) hypertonic (c) insotonic solution? Give short answer?

a) hypotonic solution : while keeping in hypotonic solution it will lose water and hence turgor pressure by plasmolysis

b) hypotonic solution : while keeping in hypotonic solution the plant cell will shrinks up and animal cell well stay firm.

c) isotonic solution : while keeping in isotonic solution both the cells will stay the same.
