As we know that socks, sweaters ,hand gloves and many other clothes are made by knitting.

In knitting, a single yarn (which is long enough and wrapped around in a well managed way so that knitting can be done easily) is used to make a piece of fabric.

So if we pull the yarn from the torn pairs of sock, that single yarn only will be pulled out continuously as the fabric gets unraveled.

Knitting is done by hand and also on machines.

If we pull the yarn from the torn pairs of sock, that single yarn only will be pulled out continuously as the fabric gets unraveled and it'll slowly get opened. The socks if it irls made from a single yarn which is  long enough to to act as a yarn for the sock hence when I'll pull one of the end the whole thing will get opened up and it'll slowly unwind.
