what will happen if we put animal cell and plant cell into a solution of salt sugar in H2o

the cytoplasm of the plant cell will shrink away from the cell walls as it is a hypertonic solution. however it wont show any changes as the wall is rigid. the animal cell will shrink and the changes will be visible
