What will happen to a cell when:
a. It is placed in a highly concentrated sugar solution.
b. Golgi apparatus is removed from it.
c. Mitochondria is removed from it.
d. Plasma membrane of the cell ruptures or breaks down.
e. It is placed in water.​

Answer:

a) When it is placed in highly concentrated sugar solution it swells because of osmosis.

b) If Golgi apparatus is removed the package or parcels of proteins will not go to the cell.

c) If mitochondria is removed cellular respiration doesn't takes place which is helpful in breaking down of food

d) If plasma membrane breaks the unwanted substances enters the cell which is toxic

e) When it is placed in water it shrinks due to osmosis .
