what will happen to a marine fish water in freshwater aquarium support your answer with reasons

As we know that marine water is salt water . Fishes live in marine water but they need to go to in fresh water because thay have to produce eggs in fresh water .If,They produce egg in marine water so eggs would be die so that is reason why they go in marine water. When they produce eggs in fresh water then they die because they have not habit of live fresh water .
