What will happen to human and earth if weathering process will not exist

 if weathering will not occur then soil will not form and thus we will not be able to grow plants and thus will not get food to eat. earth will become just a huge piece of rock. animals who are living in ground will not get shelter to live. if only rocks will be there then the dead animals or plants will not decompose and thus the fuels will also not form and remain over the surface and their smell will cause diseases. rain water will not absorb and will cause floods. people and animals will not survive long
