What will happen to marine fish if it is kept in fresh water aquariums?Support your answer with reasons?

they will die because they are adapted to live in salt water so they cannot live in fresh water

if marine fish is kept in fresh water aquarium then it will not get the essential salts and materials needed by the fish to grow.we all know that every living being is made up of cells.these cells has cell wall.the cell wall plays the role of exit and entry of many materials.the cell wall of the marine fishes are adapted in such a way that their cell wall cannot let the fresh water go in.and if it allows , then also the basic salts will not be present because of which the fish will not be able to grow properly
