What will happen to the area of a rectangle if its length and breadth are trebled

Area of the rectangle(A) =length of a rectangle(l)×Breath of the rectangle(b)

Which implies,
A is directly proportional to l and b

Therefore, if l is trebled to 3l A also gets trepled to become 3A

And further, if b is trebled to 3b the area 3A also gets trebled to become 3×3A=9A

Therefore, if Length and breath are trebled the area brecomes nine times.
