Lets take the Length and breadth of a rectangle as 5cm and 4 cm

Perimeter= 2(4+5)

=2(9)

= 18cm

Let's double the length and breadth

Perimeter= 2(10+8)

= 2( 18)

= 36cm

Hence the perimeter will also be doubled
