If a liquid is heated,so there will be increase in the temperature. And as the temperature increase the kinetic energy of molecules also increases and hence the inter particle distance also increases.
Then the inter particle spaces become larger and get increase due to which the liquid will get convert into gaseous state .

Absolutely as above answered is correct
When liquid is heated their interparticular or molecular temperature increase. So intermolecular force gets increase and the space between molecules increases which results in the conversation of liquid to gaseous state
In gaseous the molecules are loosely held or there will less molecules then the liquid.
