The modern farming methods overuses the natural resources like the soil, for example. Over use of fertilisers, pesticides and artificial manures does not allow the soil to replenish by itself. The salinity in the soil disrupts the natural nitrogen fixation in the soil. In its course, the method causes the soil to loose its fertility

Due to over use of modern farming methods the land degradation will be more and due to which soil erosion will also increase. Due to the excessive uses of chemical fertilizer by the farmers for better yield the soil will be spoiled and it's nature may be changed to acidic which would not support proper growth of plants
