here is your answer buddy

Let the side of a cube be X

then the volume of the cube=X^3

if side is reduced to 1/4

                    then the new side=X/4

then volume of the new cube=(X/4)^3=X^3/64

Hence if the edge of cube is reduced to 1/4  then the volume of the cube reduces by 64 times

Hope it helps

Answer:

Volume will be decreased by  1/64 times.

Step-by-step explanation:

V(old)/V(new)=(edgeold)3/(edgeold/4)3

V(new)=1/64 V(old)
