Life on earth will become difficult and impossible if we go on cutting trees.

• Trees are the habitat for a number of organisms living in a forest. If trees are cut down, many animals will lose their habitat and will come to the verge of becoming extinct.
• A major part of the oxygen which animals require for breathing comes from the plants and trees. If trees are cut down, there would not be enough oxygen to support the growth of such large population of organisms living on Earth.
