If light falls perpendicular to the surface of mirror, that is the angle of incidence is zero degrees then the angle of reflection is also zero. Hence the light ray will retrace its path.

Answer:

Reflected ray will revert back to the same path as incident ray.

Explanation:

We know the law of reflection

First law states that incident ,reflected and normal to the surface all lie on the same plane.

Second law states that incidence and reflected angles are same.

So,if light incident on the mirror perpendicular then , it is reflected with the same angle means 90 degree. So, reflected ray follows the same path as incident ray.
