When acids reacts with metal carbonates or metal bicarbonates/hydrogen carbonates then it gives Carbon dioxide, Water and Salt of respective metal.

Acid+ metal carbonates ==> Salt +H20+CO2

example:-

HCl + CaCO3 ==> CaCl2 + H2O+ CO2

Cheers!
