when dilute Hydrochloric Acid is added to Lead Nitrate, the hydrogen in HCl will react with Nitrogen in Lead Nitrate to form Nitric Acid and Chlorine will react with Lead to form Lead Chloride:
2HCl+Pb(NO3)2 = 2HNO3+PbCl2
