What will happen when R.B.Cs are kept in
a) 10 % glucose solution
b) 0.9% salt solution
c) 5% glucose solution.
Explain the reason also.

The ionization enthalpies of the alkali metals are considerably low and decrease down the group from Li toCs. This is because the effect of increasing size outweighs the increasing nuclear charge, and the outermost electron is very well screened from the nuclear charge
