What will happen while connecting capacitors in generators load?

Generators have rating in KVA. Our electrical load is in KW. As your power factor improves, you can load more kW without increasing kVA, i.e. for0.8 pf, kVA =0.8kW ; for1 pf kVA = kW. Don't go beyond this. This is more realistic with APMC panels.
With manual capacitor banks, there are chances of DG overrun when suddenly the load falls & capacitors remain in circuit.
It improves power factor of the Network but it must be connected through P.F controller because over capacitive condition in the distribution network may damage the AVR card of the generator
