The materials synthesized in the endoplasmic reticulum are stored, sorted, modified, packaged and dispatched to various target cells only through the Golgi apparatus.  Absence of Golgi complex leads to some problems in the transport of lipids in cells, formation of lysosomes or peroxisomes, formation of sugars etc. Without a Golgi apparatus the cell will not function.

What will happen if if there is no golgi apparatus?

If there is no Golgi apparatus, then many of these functions will not happens:-

1. To form lysosomes & vesicles.
2. Storage of protein.
3. Formation of acrosome.
4. To transport of lipids around the cell.
5. Modifying, sorting and processing of proteins.
