if oxygen is not dissolved properly in water then , there will be no aquatic life . on land we humans and other organisms our respiratory system is designed in such a way that we can take oxygen directly from atmosphere . but can u breath uder water ? no right !!! . so aquatic organisms respiratory sytem is desinged in such a way that they can only take dissolved form that is through gills .
