Hey mate...^_^

Here's ur ans.----

Area of rectangle = length × breadth
A1 = LB

Area of new rectangle (when length and breadth are doubled ) = A2. = 2l × 2b

Therefore,

A2/A1 = 4LB/LB

Hence new area is 4 times of the older one
