When Shakespeare’s beloved ie The earl of Southampton arises in the day of judgment he realised that his past glory still lives in the living records of Shakespeare’s sonnet. Not even mars or his swords or the dreadful wars can destroy it.

Shakespeare says that when on doomsday his dear friend himself will arise from the grave he will realize the futility of statues and monuments build by rich and powerful to immortalize themselves. He will see that his memory in the 'living record' have outlived the ravages of time. His memory have shone brighter than unswept stones besmeared with unloyal time.
