Question :- what will we get if we subtract -5 from q ?

Solution :-

subtracting (-5) from q ,

→ q - (-5)

now, we know that,

  • (+) + (+) = +
  • (-) + (+) = -
  • (+) + (-) = -
  • (-) + (-) = + => two minus signs gives + sign .

so,

→ q - (-5) will becomes ,

→ (q + 5) (Ans.)

Hence, if we subtract -5 from q, we gets, (q + 5) .
