sin²α+cos²α= 1
Since sin α = Hypotenuse / Perpendicular
cos α = Base/Perpendicular
Therefore, sin²α+cos²α= (Perpendicular²/Hypotenuse²)+(Base²/Hypotenuse²)
= (Perpendicular²+Base²)/Hypotenuse²
=Hypotenuse²/Hypotenuse²= 1
