What will you observe when red litmus is introducedi into a solution of sodium sulphate?

Its colour remains same. Sodium sulphate(Na2SO4) salt is derived from strong acid and strong base so it is neutral salt, its salt solution has no effect onred litmus paper.

here is your answer !!!

as you know that sodium sulphate is made of sodium hydro oxide and Sulphuric Acid that is H2 s o4.


Sodium Hydroxide is an a strong base and Sulphuric acid is an a strong acids by intermixing of Sodium Hydroxide and Sulphuric Acid there is formation of sodium sulphate which is neutral in nature.

the colour of sodium sulphate is colourless because it is made of strong acid and strong base so by neutralization reaction the colour of solution is colourless.


so sodium sulphate have no any colour and by dripping it into any Litmus it does not going to change its colour.
