What work do the people of this village do
Answers
Answer:
It depends massively on the definition of “village”. Most of the definitions I’ve come across of “town” suggest that there’s at least some level of business that goes on there.
A lot of places which are referred to as “villages” in the UK, for example, have a tourist industry, so you’d find people working in that area, possibly running a hotel or a shop. The same is true for a lot of villages in Australia, particularly those in the hinterlands of the more well-known coastal areas.
At the other end of the spectrum, though, you’d find villages where the only occupation is farming, and possibly subsistence farming at that. People who don’t work in that area would therefore have to travel to the nearest town or city to work in whatever field they work in.
