Usually if you ask this question from a Buddhist, most likely you will get an answer similar to :
You will be born again in a realm depending on your karma
Your soul will get attached to the body and this body you are going to be attached will be determined by the karma.
Speaking in terms of what really Lord Buddha taught about what happens after death is complex and it can be quite a mind-twist if you have been taught otherwise. To understand what Lord Buddha taught about rebirth is to understand other doctrines such as the doctrine of no-self, karma etc.
