Haemoglobin is the respiratory pigment that transports oxygen to the body cells for cellular respiration. Therefore, deficiency of haemoglobin in blood can affect the oxygen supplying capacity of blood which leads to deficiency of oxygen in the body cells. It can also lead to a disease called anaemia.

hi there!

Deficiency of Haemoglobin can have serious effects.

A low haemoglobin count is only slightly than normal and doesn't affect how you feel. If it gets more severe, your low Hb count indicate you have Anemia.

Symptoms:

1. feel tired

2. become easily fatigued

3. appear pale

4. have a feeling of heart racing

5. feel short of breath

6. have worsening heart problems

hope it helps!
