What would be the frequency of an alternate current of its direction changes everu 0.1sec

The time period of the current = (2x0.01) = 0.02 second Time period is the time required to complete one cycle. After half rotation the current reverses its direction. In one rotation, the current flows in the original direction completing one cycle. Frequency = 1/ time period = 50 Hz.
