Since the Time when current changes it's direction is 0.01
This means , that
Time period / 2 = 0.01
So,
time period = 0.02 second
Now,
Frequency = 1/Time period = 1/0.02 = 50 Hertz

Hope this helps you !

The time period of the current = (2x0.01) = 0.02 second Time period is the time required to complete one cycle. After half rotation the current reverses its direction. In one rotation, the current flows in the original direction completing one cycle. Frequency = 1/ time period = 50 Hz.
