The authors is doubtful wheather mauritius world be able to preserve it's charm. The entire economy is dependent on sugar and the government is nerves about the country's complete dependence on a single commodity namely sugar it is Eagar to have foreign entrepreneurs start their industries in the island but if that happens, then the cost of living will go up.
