If the object is in rest the initial velocity will be 0
Rest Means the object is in stationary . No Movement take place ........So no force applied
According to the Newton’s first law ;
A body at rest remains at rest or, if in motion, remains in motion at constant velocity unless acted on by a net external force.
So initial velocity is 0
