What would be the negative impacts if PDS does not function properly ? please try to answer in points at least 5 points

negative impacts of PDS:

* quality of food grains might not be proper

*cannot reach each and every place, means to distribute food grains to all the poor peoples

*can sell their grains to rich peoples and gain profit, this creates shortage of food grain and brings unequal distribution among the poor ones

*besides food grains nutritious fruits and sufficient water is also important for health which is not considered by PDS

*might involve adulteration(mixing) and artificial scarcity by hoarding during festival seasons due to avoidance of strict checking
