In oxidative decarboxylation we will get 1 NADH2 means 3 ATP.

In kreb cycle we get 3 NADH2 ( 9 ATP ), 1 FADH2 ( 2 ATP ) and 1 ATP.

TOTAL = 3 ATP + 9 ATP + 2 ATP + 1 ATP

= 15 ATP

Therefore, the net gain of ATP in krebs cycle if the substrate is 1 pyruvic acid is 15 ATP .
