When a ray in air is incident on glass slab it bends towards the normal
when this ray passes through another slab attached to it and have same refractive index then it's path will be same as in first glass plate
but if refractive index of second glass plate is more than first then it will further deviate towards normal
but in both the cases in will come out in air parallel to the incident ray.

Answer:
If both pieces of glass have the same refractive index and have parallel surfaces, the rays in and out will be parallel.
