Phenotype stands for external feature...means the appearence of the plant..

If
TT-tall plant
Tt-tall plant
tt-dwarf plant

Hope this helps u!

wanda4: thanks a lot! but why are the phenotype of TT and Tt same? isn't that a bit confusing..?
Rosedowson: Cause TT is for tall plant ans Tt also for tall as it is heterozygous in nature ..and thus resembles as tall...
Rosedowson: If helped pls mark d brainliest!!
wanda4: oh okay.. thanks!! will do!
wanda4: how do u mark someone the brainliest? im sorry im new to brainly so dont really know how to do that.

The phenotype of the plant that had genotype Tt is tall.

According to "Mendelian principles" there are two categories of alleles that are involved in the formation of a new offspring. The traits can be "dominant or recessive".

In the case of the dominant alleles, a single allele is enough to express the phenotypic trait whereas, in the case of recessive alleles 2 alleles are required to express the phenotypic morphology.
