What would be the reading of the Ammeter in given circuit if each resistor is of 9 ohm and battery is of 9 V?
Kindly explain the process.

Answer:

5 Ampere

Explanation:

all resistors are in parallel so potential across each is 9 volt so 9/9 = 1 amp current passes through each resistance (I = V/R)

But resistors are placed before ammeter so current passing through these 4 resistors do not pass through ammeter

But current passing through 5 later resistance passes through ammeter

So 5*1 = 5 amp current is detected by ammeter.
