According to question,

↪ (n^2 - 1) is divisible by 8

(n-1) and (n+1) are therefore even

Hence , ⚫ n = Odd no. ( I e. 3, 5 , 7 , etc...)

(n-1)(n+1) = n^2 -1
If n^2 -1 is divisible by 8 ..
n+1 and n-1 will be even no
Even + 1 = odd
Even - 1 = odd
N = any odd number ( 1,3,5..)
