Answer:

Given :

Frequency of wave = 20 Hz

Wavelength = 20 m

To find:

Velocity of the wave

Concept:

Velocity is given be the product of the frequency and wavelength of the wave.

V = λ × μ ,

where λ is the wavelength and μ is the frequency.

Any wave is audible if it ranges between 20 Hz and 20,000 Hz .

Calculation:

Velocity = λ × μ

=> V = 20 × 20

=> V = 400 m/s

Sound will be audible since it falls in the range of 20 Hz and 20000 Hz.

AnswEr :

velocity =(400)m/s

☆To finD: Velocity of the wave.

ExplanatiOn:

1) Frequency= 20Hz

2) Wavelength= 20m

☆We know that sound is audible only if it ranges between 20Hz-20,000Hz.

➡So,now ☆velocity=Frequency×Wavelength

➡Velocity=20×20

➡Velocity=400m/s✔

"Sound is audible as it falls between the range 20Hz-20,000Hz".
