From F = ma, if force is finite so is acceleration.
Integrating F= ma w.r.t. time, mass x change in velocity = integral of F w.r.t. time from initial to final time. The integral is called the impulse.
In reality we think that forces are never infinite. However a sudden impulse, e.g. hitting a ball with a bat, is associated with a large force that is sometimes idealized as infinite. In that case the acceleration would also be infinite
