What would happen if a forest is converted to a non-forestland.

Answer:

if forest is converted into non forested land for usually man made purposes then the carbon dioxide amount will increase , leading to huge amount of air pollution and as we know by this the greenhouse effect will increase leading to a temperature rise ...that is global warming .....in the absence of trees, the soil will not hold water thus causing floods
