what would happen if a light ray were to pass through 2F1 of a convex or concave lens? I have this doubt, please answer
Class 10 light
pls don't answer if you don't know or say anything irrelevant
Answers
a nice doubt you have.
1. For biconvex lens,
The will converge and image will be formed at the principal axis, right side
2. For biconcave lens
the light will diverge and image formed left side
note:- to find where image is formed, first you have to draw a pependicular line to axis at F2 then draw parallel line to the ray. draw a refracted ray passing through the point where perpendicular line and parallel line interest.
I think it's little bit hard to u to understand so, have a look at the images
for concave lens the ray won't meet togather so, we will Just draw dotted line backwards then the rays will meet.
Remember:- The image is formed where two rays meet. in yous images one rays must passes through axis then it cannot be deviated.
hope u can understand clearly. I am in 10th, if u have doubt Regarding this or anything follow me I will respond in my dp.
bye broo..
