Carnivores depend on sufficient prey of fleshy animals in the food chain to give them the food they need for nutrition. Carnivores depend upon herbivores for food by killing them.

Herbivores depend on herbs, vegetation, plant, and saplings. If the herbivore population decline for some reason there will be a disturbance in food chain system or if the population of other carnivores declines in an ecosystem, carnivore’s population will increase in uncontrollable number so that vegetation of earth may not be adequate for feeding them and they will ultimately decline in number.

If herbivore changes their food pattern and becomes carnivores that will also result from extinction as no food will be available as the population of herbivores will extinct.

carnivores depend on herbivores for their nutrition.
If all herbivores becomes carnivores then carnibores will not get their food . A stage will come when there will no carnivores and no herbivores.
