What would happen if an animal cell kept in distillers waters for24 days

When an animal cell is kept in distilled water, t he solute concentration inside the cell is more than outside. Water will enter inside the cell due to osmosis. As a result the cell will swollen up and becomes turgid. If the cell is placed inside water for longer period the cell may burst due to excess water.
