ANSWER

When onion peels are kept in hypotonic solution, water moves into the cells of the onion peel by osmosis. The cells take in water and become turgid. The cells however do not burst due to the presence of the cell wall surrounding the cell membrane of the the onion cells . ACTUALLY IN ISOTONIC SOLUTION IT WILL NOT TURGID

When onion peel cell are kept in isotonic solution, the amount of water going in is same as the amount of water going out due to which there is is no overall movement of water. HENCE , the cell placed isotonic solution will retain the same shape
