what would happen if anyone was there in the church ?

Explanation:
Such a revelation is not possible unless it was some sort of alien mind invasion. There is hardly anything more certain than the fact that believers will believe in spite of any revelation of fact.
But, given such a mind invasion there would be a good bit of economic impact. Religion is the world’s largest business. The world economy is too broad and complicated to discuss here, so lets bring it down to your local church.
First does it belong to a national or regional organization as is typical. If so that further complicates the discussion, so let’s assume that it is independent.
Is the property free of debt? Probably not. The majority of independent churches are financed with long term bonds. Unless the church has been established for decades and its leaders have decided to pay off the debt, rather than do any refinancing, the church is likely to have debt.
If the church has a negative net value in liquidation, the governing body, deacons or whatever they are called, would probably abdicate any responsibility and the church property would end up in bankruptcy. It would be sold by a court appointed receiver probably at auction. The bond holders would get the proceeds after administrative costs and up to the face value of their bonds. If there has been significant appreciation in the value of the property they might come out alright. If not they will probably be sorry they ever invested in church bonds.
Let’s say, it is a low debt, or no debt, high property value situation and there is a pile of money left after the sale of the church property. Who gets it? That’s going to be like throwing a couple pounds of hamburger into a pack of wolves. Except that the devouring will take much longer and many more fights in court.
In a no debt situation it is possible that some benevolent souls might prevail and the property could be donated to some organization for homeless shelters, or such. I would not count on it happening too often if there is a chance that some individuals can profit from the exchange.
This is just on your block. What about those regional and national organizations. This is where the subject gets too broad and complicated for intelligent discussion. Except to say that we are talking some deep, deep pockets here with investments probably in about every major corporation in the country. They also have sole ownership of many hospitals, clinics, HMOs, insurance companies, and what else is anyone’s guess. Let’s just say that disbanding these organizations will be more like dumping several truck loads of carcasses on the Serengeti. Special courts will need to be established and some people will get very fat. Others will be very disappointed.
And, we haven’t even gotten to the Baptists, the Mormons, and the granddaddy of them all, the Catholics. The impact of the redistribution of the wealth of the Catholic church is unimaginable.
